Automatic Powder Coating Line for Fence Mesh
Product Overview
An automatic powder coating line for fence mesh is designed for continuous coating of welded wire mesh, fence panels and other metal fencing products.
Unlike flat metal sheets, fence mesh contains welded joints, wire intersections and open mesh areas. These features affect powder coverage, workpiece hanging and conveying.
Therefore, the coating line should be configured according to the actual fence mesh size, weight, production volume and coating requirements.
For manufacturers with regular production, an automatic system can connect pretreatment, drying, powder spraying, curing and conveying into one production process, reducing repetitive manual operations and creating a more consistent production flow.
Suitable Applications
• Welded wire fence panels
• 3D and 2D fence panels
• Garden and residential fencing
• Security fence panels
• Agricultural and livestock fencing
• Industrial mesh barriers
• Other fabricated wire mesh products

Product Introduction
A complete automatic fence mesh powder coating line normally includes the following sections.
Pretreatment System
The pretreatment system removes oil, dirt and other contaminants from the metal surface before powder coating. Spray pretreatment or immersion pretreatment can be selected according to the material, surface condition and required coating performance.
Drying Oven
After pretreatment, the fence mesh passes through a drying oven to remove residual moisture. The oven dimensions and heating capacity are calculated according to workpiece size, conveyor speed and production requirements.
Automatic Powder Coating Booth
Automatic powder guns apply the coating while the fence mesh moves through the booth. Reciprocators can be used to move the spray guns across the required coating area.
For fence mesh, the spray gun arrangement needs to consider wire intersections, panel structure and both sides of the workpiece. The number and position of guns are determined by product geometry and required output.
Powder Recovery System
The recovery system collects powder that does not reach the workpiece during spraying. Cyclone recovery, cartridge filtration or a combined configuration can be selected according to production volume and color-change requirements.
Curing Oven
The coated fence mesh enters the curing oven after spraying. The powder is heated according to the curing requirements of the selected powder coating. Actual curing temperature and time should follow the powder manufacturer's technical data.
Conveyor System
The conveyor transports fence panels through each process section. Hangers, loading spacing, conveyor height and speed are designed according to the dimensions and weight of the workpieces.
Control System
The control system coordinates conveyor operation, powder spraying, oven temperature and other line functions. The automation level can be adjusted according to the production process and operating requirements.

Ordering Information
To develop a suitable fence mesh powder coating line, please provide:
• Fence mesh dimensions
• Wire diameter and mesh opening
• Maximum workpiece weight
• Required daily or monthly production
• Working hours per day
• Powder colors and color-change frequency
• Material and surface condition
• Available factory dimensions
• Product drawings or photos
With this information, the technical team can evaluate the pretreatment process, conveyor arrangement, spray gun configuration, oven size, powder recovery system and overall production line layout.
Why Choose a Customized Solution?
Fence mesh manufacturers may produce different panel sizes, wire diameters and mesh specifications. These differences directly affect the conveyor, spraying system and curing capacity.
A customized line is designed around the actual products and workshop conditions rather than using the same configuration for every project.
For manufacturers with multiple fence specifications, suitable manual inspection or touch-up points can also be incorporated where necessary.
The coating system can therefore be matched to the factory's production rhythm, product range and available space, while allowing practical operation and maintenance.
Project Reference
A fence mesh powder coating project can integrate pretreatment, drying, automatic powder spraying, powder recovery, curing and cooling into one continuous process.
The equipment arrangement is determined by the dimensions and weight of the mesh panels, coating requirements and expected production capacity.
